Brief: In 2019 I wanted to create a showcase of some of the visuals I have been able to produce over the years
in my travels as well as create a poem around traveling and my philosophy of travel. As an EU citizen and creator of content in 30+ countries I have been awed and humbled by the world and the diversity and beauty of all of the people in it. This piece is a reflection.

It's often said that what changes when you travel is you
Its true
But, its so much more
Who you are and what you were breaks
(If you’ll let it)
The seawall of understanding that took a lifetime to build is overwhelmed by the crash of culture
What will you do?
Do you build a higher, stronger, harder barrier?
An edifice so impenetrable that even the strongest wave of experience cannot shake it?
A dam that leaves the tranquil waters of self unmoved and safe inside?
No
Maybe your pools are not safe but stagnant and shallow?
Would complexity render you more full?
Allow the waves to invade
Then when home
You’ll know what it means
